Welcome to Fort Allen Elementary School

Located in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Fort Allen Elementary School was renovated in 2000.  It is brimming with outstanding students, classes, activities, teachers, staff and volunteers.  Committed to Educational Excellence, Fort Allen serves 500 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. 
 
Building a Foundation for the Future
 
  • Average class size in grades K-2 is 23 students, and grades 3-5 is 27 students.
  • Four kindergarten classrooms, 4 first grades, 4 second grades, 4 third grades, 4 fourth grades and 4 fifth grade classrooms.
  • Curriculum provides for 40-minute lessons through itinerant staff in art, library, music, physical education and technology to all students.
  • Two learning support classes (Grades K-1, 5) and (Grades 2- 4) for the students needing Special Education.
