CDC No Longer Mandates Masks on School Buses or Vans

On Friday, February 25, 2022, the CDC lifted the mandate requiring the wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.  The HASD Health & Safety Plan indicates that in the absence of a mandate, the decision to wear or not wear a mask is made by the parent/guardian.  Effective Monday, February 28, 2022, the parent/guardian may choose to have their child ride a school bus or van without wearing a mask.
